‘Setayesh 3’ enjoys big stars before camera

New stars appear before the camera for the third season of the Iranian series ‘Setayesh’.

Directed by Saeed Soltani, the series enjoys popular thespians as the main stars.

The shooting for ‘Setayesh 3’, produced by Arman Zarrinkoub is currently underway in Tehran.

A plot summary for ‘Setayesh’ season 1 reads, “Taher has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein's war of aggression. His friend, who's deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country.”

Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend's sister, Setayesh, he agrees. Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threatens to keep the two from ever finding happiness together.

Narges Mohammadi stars as the female lead in the original ‘Setayesh' alongside veteran Iranian actor Daryoush Arjmand.

Other names of the cast include Mehdi Solouki, Asadollah Yekta, Sima Tirandaz, Keyhan Maleki, Fariba Naderi and Farhad Jam.
